On September 28, the last set of equipment of Sino-Korea Petrochemical's ethylene debottleneck renovation project, namely, a new 300,000 tons of high-density polyethylene equipment per year, has been successfully started up and produced qualified products. Construction of this project started in mid-April 2020, and it took 13 months to complete. This marks the completion and commissioning of all the ethylene debottlenecking renovation projects implemented by Sinopec through tapping potential and increasing efficiency, with an annual production capacity of 1.1 million tons.
